Dua Lipa Dua Lipa, an English musician and singer, was born in London on 22 August 1995. After a stint as a model and actress she was signed to Warner Bros Records. She dropped her self-titled debut album in 2017. It reached the number three spot on the U.K. charts for albums and included eight songs, which included the U.K. number one song New Rules and Be the One I.D.G.A.F. By way of her maternal grandmother, Dua Lipa is Bosnian. It is possible to trace her family's roots back to Peja, a city in Kosovo. Her grandfathers were both historians.
